License, identity and insurance are all verified online while you book, so the handover takes about ten minutes: check the car over, confirm fuel and mileage, take the keys.

Amazing experience with Atlas Car Rental! The service was excellent from start to finish. Communication was great—he always responded quickly and made the entire rental process easy and stress-free. There were no hidden fees, the deposit was very reasonable, and everything was exactly as explained upfront. He was also extremely flexible with our drop-off time, which helped a lot with our travel plans. Our flight out of Fort Lauderdale ended up getting delayed, and we had to switch to a flight out of Miami. He even offered to give us a ride to Miami Airport, which was way above and beyond what I would expect from a rental company. Atlas may be a smaller company, but the customer service was better than what I’ve experienced with many of the big rental companies. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and wants to make things as easy as possible for them. How much is delivery in Hollywood?
Nothing. Hollywood is one of two cities where we deliver free, along with Dania Beach. We will bring the car to a home, hotel, office or other approved address at an agreed time.
What cars do you have in Hollywood?
Three: a 2024 Volkswagen Jetta sedan, a 2023 Volkswagen Taos compact SUV and a 2024 Kia Soul. All are automatic and seat five. The Jetta and Taos are $55.00 a day and the Soul is $49.00 (currently rented out). Because the fleet is small, booking a week or two ahead is worth doing.
Do you deliver to Hollywood Beach?
Yes. Hotels, condos and vacation rentals along Hollywood Beach and the Broadwalk are inside our free-delivery zone, the same as anywhere else in the city.
Can you deliver near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)?
Hollywood sits directly south of FLL, so hotels near the airport are well inside our delivery area, and we never charge an airport fee. If you are flying in, book delivery to your hotel or vacation rental and we will meet you there.
Do you deliver to the Seminole Hard Rock or Downtown Hollywood?
Downtown Hollywood and Young Circle are inside our free Hollywood delivery zone, which covers ZIP codes 33019, 33020, 33021, 33023, 33024, 33025 and 33026. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino itself sits in Davie, just outside that zone, so a $30 delivery fee applies there. Tell us whether you are at the hotel, the casino or an event and we will arrange a meeting point.
Do you offer weekly or monthly car rentals in Hollywood?
Yes. Seven days or more takes 10% off automatically and a month takes 20%, on any car — and monthly renters get the same free Hollywood delivery.
Is there a security deposit?
We place a $300.00 refundable hold on your card. It is an authorization rather than a charge, it is released after you return the car, and we capture against it only if there is damage. Tolls, mileage over the allowance and cleaning are billed separately.
What if I don't have my own auto insurance?
You can still rent. Renters without verifiable auto insurance add liability coverage at $33 a day, and every renter can choose an optional damage waiver: $14.95 a day with a $1,000 deductible, or $24.95 a day with a $250 deductible.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before your rental start time and you get a full refund. Later cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Do I need to collect the car from somewhere?
Usually not. We deliver and collect at an address you approve, seven days a week: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm, and there is no rental counter or storefront to visit. If you are flying into FLL, you can instead collect the car from our partner lot, Park My Share, at 100 Fronton Blvd in Dania Beach, reached by a 24/7 shuttle from the terminal with no airport fee.
How old do I have to be to rent?
At least 23, with a valid driver's license, for the renter and any additional driver. We do not charge a young-driver fee, so a 23-year-old pays exactly what anyone else pays.
Is there a mileage limit?
Every rental includes 200 miles per day, and additional miles are $0.35 each. That covers most driving around Broward and Miami-Dade comfortably.
