A week with Atlas starts at $409.50 for the car. Both our vehicles are $65 a day, and seven days or more earns a 10% discount on the vehicle rate — so $455 becomes $409.50.
Delivered in Fort Lauderdale with your own insurance and no optional waiver, that's $429.50 before tax. Here's everything that can move that number, and nothing that can't.
The base week
- Seven days at $65 — $455.00
- 10% weekly discount — −$45.50
- Vehicle total — $409.50
- Included mileage — 1,400 miles (200 per day), then $0.35 per mile
Staying longer than a week? Rentals of a month or more take 20% off the vehicle rate instead.
The
Jetta and the
Taos are the same price, take the same discount and include the same mileage — so choose on space, not cost.
Sedan or SUV? covers that in a minute.
Rates for a specific week can differ during peak periods, since some dates are priced individually. The itemized quote you see before paying is always the authoritative number.
Delivery: $0 to $30
We're delivery-only, so instead of a counter there's a one-off delivery charge that depends on where you are. Add it to the $409.50:
- Hollywood, Dania Beach — free
- Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach — $20
- Aventura, Davie — $30
Coverage: only if you need it
Every rental needs liability coverage, but it doesn't have to be ours. If you have qualifying personal auto insurance and we can verify it, you pay nothing extra.
If you can't verify a policy, renter liability is $33 a day — $231 for the week.
Separately, a damage waiver is always optional. It isn't insurance; it limits what you owe for damage to our car:
- Standard — $14.95/day, $104.65 a week, $1,000 deductible
- Premium — $24.95/day, $174.65 a week, $250 deductible
The weekly discount applies to the vehicle rate only, not to coverage. If you're unsure which applies to you,
renting without your own insurance explains the difference properly.
The deposit is not a cost
We place a $300 refundable hold, not a charge. It reduces your available credit for the rental period and is released after you return the car, subject to the rental agreement. Budget for the hold; don't add it to the price.
What's included
- 1,400 miles over the week
- Delivery and collection coordination
- Vehicle preparation before it reaches you
- Online booking, verification and an itemized quote
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before delivery
- Local support by phone or text
What depends on how you drive
A few things can't be quoted up front because they depend on the trip:
- Tolls — tracked by SunPass and billed at the toll amount after your rental, with no markup. Local driving may cost nothing; regular Turnpike or express-lane use adds up.
- Fuel — return it at the level you received it, or we bill the difference.
- Extra miles — $0.35 each beyond 1,400.
- Taxes — Florida applies a per-day rental surcharge plus state and county sales tax. Both are itemized in your quote before you pay.
Late returns, excessive cleaning and traffic violations can also be charged, but none of those apply to a normal rental.
A worked example
Seven days, delivered in Fort Lauderdale, own insurance verified, no waiver:
- Vehicle for the week — $409.50
- Delivery — $20.00
- $429.50 before tax, plus a $300 refundable hold
Same week without your own insurance and with the Premium waiver: add $231 and $174.65, and you're at $835.15 before tax. Most renters land nearer the first figure than the second.
Why a low daily rate can cost more
Airport counters advertise attractive daily rates and add concession fees, facility charges, young-driver fees and toll-program fees at the desk. We have none of those: no counter, no airport concession, no young-driver fee, and tolls billed at cost.
